Grantha Mitra FLN impACT: Not just a story, but a life impacted positively What does true perseverance look like? It looks like entering a classroom unable to read a single word of the local language and leaving it with a perfect score. At Haradi School, Sagar Kashyap Singh faced a monumental challenge. Coming from a Hindi speaking background, he was completely unfamiliar with the Kannada script and language. This was reflected in his baseline assessment, where he scored 0% in literacy and 14.28% in numeracy. Language barriers can easily isolate a student, but the Grantha Mitra FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) framework is built to meet children exactly where they are. Step-by-step, letter-by-letter, Sagar was introduced to the Kannada alphabet. Through regular worksheet activities, continuous classroom support, and an incredible work ethic of our FLN faculty Dhanya Kulal K, Sagar didn't just learn to read he achieved complete fluency. The Endline Results: Literacy: 0% -->100% Numeracy: 14.28% --> 92.85% Sagar’s transformation is a powerful reminder that academic potential is universal, it just requires the right foundational support to unlock. Kudos to Sagar for his inspiring dedication and to the educators who guided him through every step!
